Morning Frost

I hate the cold. Winter is not my favorite time of the year. And Groundhog Day is one of my favorite days because it means that winter is half way over and spring is just around the corner. I am so thankful that I live where it doesn’t snow and we don’t have ice storms. I wouldn’t be able to handle it, being that cold for any length of time. I think part of my problem is that once I become cold, I stay cold and don’t really seem to be able to get warm. However…

I just love love love frost! The morning frost is such a wonderfully spectacular sight to behold. The way it glistens in the sunlight makes me smile. That delicate white blanket of frozen dew beckons me in the early morning, and I am not a morning person either.

I don’t know why it has such a hold on me but it does. I am mesmerized by its splendor and I love seeing it through a lens. Looking at it through a lens makes you see little details instead of the whole picture at once.

And who knows what little details you will find when you are gazing at the frost through a lens.
