Mommy Lesson 15 - Choose Joy

Have you ever heard the phrase, “Happy wife, happy life”? That could be changed a bit to say, “Happy mommy, happy life.” What I mean is, when momma ain't happy, no one is happy. The mom sets the tone for the house. You can build up your house with a joyful countenance or you can tear down your house with a disagreeable attitude. It really is up to you what the overall atmosphere of your house is. A warm friendly hospitable environment does not come from a grouchy mommy. In fact if you are a grouch you might as well move in with a certain Muppet. Your time with your family will be much more enjoyable if you choose to have joy. Mommies need to choose joy in all circumstances. Not easy but absolutely essential. In fact, if you laugh out loud, you will choose joy.
